If I get served by someone else's papers, am I legally required to inform the person that they got served, or the court that they served the wrong person?

If I get served by someone else's papers, am I legally required to inform the person that they got served, or the court that they served the wrong person?

FIRST INCIDENT:

TWO TIMES I HAD A PROCESSOR COME TO SERVE ME PAPERS - ONLY IT WASN’T FOR ME:

Never heard back from that Law Firm or Lawyer.

What's the most trivial thing that ever made you go to the doctor?

The Headers and Footers contained the xxx County Courthouse with the address, etc - however, the next paragraph had the Law Firm, lawyer’s name, PO Box, City, State, Zip.

He left.

ECD: Did you go to this lawyer?

The Processor then wrote “No such person, invalid address, invalid apartment info” (which that was correct, our Apartments are numbered, not letters).

The Mailman went on his way, after all the Senior Officer has possession of it. He took photos, NO Name - Left intentionally blank: just only had the street number, street name, City, State and Zip. The Processor stayed put, because he was suspecting “criminal” activity occurring.

PROCESSOR: I can’t do that.

How do schizophrenia symptoms change throughout the day?

The Processor was NOT happy. The other Cop said “Over here…. lemme show ya.” Pulling up the screen and said “These are all the people who live here at that residency since 19xx. The original owners and her.”

One employee who was outside next door that worked at the store told me “That guy’s never there. He’s got a building, he gets mail, if you want him, the only way to get him is to phone him.” I then asked “How long as he been around?” The other girl (employee) said “About 3 years, no one’s ever seen him or anyone. I was putting display outside when this guy came in and installed the Law Firm stuff on the window.”

I asked for the case number and for a follow up. He wasn’t sure, because once it’s in their hands, they take care of it.

Fine, I went back in my house and handed him the Driver’s License.

SENIOR OFFICER: True, lawyers are *bleep* they will push everything to the max and come up with some loopy reasons why they did it.

ECD: You delivered it to the address. Leave it at that. Don’t go back to them anymore. Let me have your biz card.

The Senior Officer ended it with “Well, that didn’t go too well…”

Then the next day when the Carpet people were installing new carpet. I had to leave for a bit, but when I returned, one of the carpet men handed me the papers, apparently another processor stopped in and handed it to him.

I then chimed in and said “I had a guy come up earlier, first, then a woman, and now him. And I’ve told all of them that there’s no such person that lives here.”

MAN: Hello this is xxxxxx Esquire.

I told him “I’m the landlord, the woman passed away awhile ago, so you can mark it deceased.” He stood there, and said “It’s not for a woman, it’s for a man.” I then responded: “HERE? At this apartment?” He looked down and I glanced over and then informed him “I have no tenants here with that name at all. Not in ANY apartments.”

The next day, another Processor came to deliver the papers, I told her, “Ma’am, no such person here. There was a guy here yesterday, and I told him, no such person.” She made a note and disappeared.

ECD: Do not even think of hanging up on me - now please explain this … (reads the paperwork)

Three days later, a BIG GUY came up (and he was heavily armed), knocked on my door, and I told him. I already had two processors earlier this week, and you’re looking for a person that does not even reside here!

ECD: How many papers did he give you?

Why do people immediately disregard subjects such as flat earth, without opening their minds/taking time to research?

COP: Yeah fraudulently, it’s not a court document.

Everyone → standing there trying to listen

Then the Economic Crimes Detective (ECD) showed up, and he was NOT amused. Nope, not one bit! He griped and grumbled. The other two Cops were standing there a bit puzzled, and finally the Processor showed up.

What were my 10 favorite great rock albums that were either forgotten or hardly known by the rock community at large during 1965-‘75?

PROCESSOR: Just that one.

He opened the mail, and it matched to the 14 page document that the processor had in his possession.

A Processor who came to my door one day, which I opened it up. He asked for XXXX (name), and I said “Sorry, no such person residing here.” He went to double check the address and it was my address. Again, I said “never was such person ever residing here.”

MAN: (Profanities)

He then made a note of it, thanked me, and left.

When I got there, I glanced across, the name was in lettering, but you could see inside, it was empty! I had to get out of my vehicle and walk over, peered inside. There was a telephone on top of 3 stacked dairy crates and a folding chair (closed, against the wall).

Had strong anxiety, heart palpitations, headaches and fear randomly over twin flame presence, 20 mins later he didnt acknowledge me saw a photo of a girl on the back of his phone faced up. Assume it was a new gf. Was this a warning of seperation?

ECD: Is there a way I can find out who the other processors were that made the attempt?

I was able to read the papers. They were suing xxxx (name of person) and threatened to put a lien on the property for sum of $11.5 million on the property (WHOA NELLIE) and take possession of … (are you ready???) Rolls Royce Silver Shadow, Rolls Royce Silver Cloud, Ferrari Testarossa, BMW (motorcycle), and a boat - Fairlane Squadron!

Since it was coming from the Court, which was down the road. They were half done, so I left again to go down to the Court House and explain it all to the Clerk - “NO SUCH PERSON, INVALID ADDRESS, INVALID APARTMENT INFO.”

Why do women stubbornly refuse to let men lead, even though they are attracted to the man, and the man both loves and desires them? Why do they get angry and blame the man when he gets fed up and walks away, when it's entirely their own fault?

It was NOT a court paperwork, it was a legal letter of “suit” with an offer to “settle out of court”.

The Clerk was a bit disappointed, and stamped it and had someone take it up to the Chambers (Judge).

While the PO Address was on there, he did sign it with his name and his business address at the end of it (letter) that which I took a photo of. A couple days later, I decided to drive by that office, as it was in a moderate upscale strip mall.

ECD: *glares at him*

What do you think of a parent telling their adult child to “keep their personal life to themselves” in relation to talking to them? No reason they should say that it was mean what should I do?

I just cracked up, and they were teasing me about “where was I hiding this stuff?”

Then the Mailman arrived, and he then needed my signature, it was from the same Lawyer that had Processors coming out to deliver the papers… only that it had an “address” only with no name! The Senior Officer told him “Give it to me. No signature. Do not scan. I have my reasons to believe it’s fraudulent.”

He then demanded to see my driver’s license. I then said “I will call the Cops.” I shut the door and called the Cops, the Processor met up with the Cops. Two of those Cops knew who I was, and I could see they were telling him “No one by that name lives there.”

ECD: *grumbles* so we meet again

PROCESSOR: I am not aware of any who proceeded, I am independent. She (me) told him there were a couple before I showed up.

The Processor then asked me “Previous renters?” Which I responded with “never had anyone by that name at all, not for the past 20 years I’ve owned this place.”

At a property that I had up for rental, one particular building (that was a long time tenant, she passed away at 84) was empty for awhile. She had lived there for 42 years since her husband died, she sold her home and rented the apartment. That particular unit had never been updated, she never would permit me to install new carpets (believe it or not, for 42 years → the carpet was very well cared for).

He then just took everything (both paperwork - Processor and USPS), went into the unmarked car and drove off, leaving the 2 Cops standing there along with myself.

He redials several times - and the phone just gets picked up and hung up immediately. He tries for I think the 5th or 6th time, he got an answering machine with a “voice mailbox full”.

ECD: *takes a deep breath* (100% irritated) dials the lawyer

Processors are not supposed to read them, they only deliver. In this case, the Senior Officer requested the Economic Crimes Detective to come out. While the Processor left the paperwork there (he had to go to two other places, so he’s coming back).

SECOND INCIDENT:

ME: Isn’t it illegal to use a County Letterhead?

MAN: ::::: slams phone :::::::::

PROCESSOR: Yes, called me for my services

I was just done installing totally upgraded and new kitchen when I decided to end the day since the new carpet will be incoming tomorrow. Was locking up when a Processor came to serve that apartment, papers.

The one of them walked up and saw me look out the window, and told me “C’mon out!” I opened the door, and he said “Can you give me your driver’s license. He doesn’t believe us.”

:::: signed off :::: plus handing him the business card.

ECD: I see, release it to me please.
